Best Performing Shopify Stores
When it comes to getting started with your very own Shopify shop, website development, inventory management, and everything else that goes into business can feel like a lot to deal with.
Taking some time to investigate the best and most successful Shopify stores can provide inspiration and a chance to see first-hand how sites built with Shopify work from the customers’ point of view.
To save you some time, we’ve spent a lot of time searching for Shopify eCommerce site examples. We’ve:
Checked their ranking on Alexa;
Looked at where the business is and where their customers are;
Considered what makes them great;
…All to create a list of the best Shopify stores and give you some inspiration for your own eCommerce business.
https://www.deathwishcoffee.com/ – The World’s Strongest Coffee
Alexa Rank: #28,066
Location: United States (55%), India (2.2%), UAE (1.1%).
Niche: Coffee
Shopify Theme: Custom
What they do well: With a rebellious “we dare you” attitude, Death Wish Coffee is one of the most cool Shopify websites that customers will love or hate. Their claim of being the “world’s strongest coffee” almost poses a challenge to buyers, and the tone is consistent throughout the website (“3 reasons why you hate your coffee,” “never miss a mug”). On the homepage, you’ll be greeted with their latest product, followed by the original Death Wish Coffee with an easy add-to-cart and a touch of social proof (“1,000+ customer reviews). The entire website is well-thought-out, with straightforward navigation between coffee, merch, and subscriptions.
https://uk.huel.com/ – The World’s no. 1 Complete Food
Alexa Rank: #28,066
Location: United States (55%), India (2.2%), UAE (1.1%)
Niche: Health and diet foods.
Shopify Theme: Custom
What they do well: Huel (Human + Fuel) gets straight to the point with plenty of social proof, products, and key claims. When you load the homepage, you’ll be immediately reassured that you’re onto a winning product, with claims including “the world’s no.1 complete food,” “over 150 million meals sold.” Short, simple, engaging copy captivates the target audience, and additional information on how Huel can help you achieve your fitness goals reinforces the USP.
https://www.getvinebox.com/ – Delight your palate with fine wines… delivered by the glass
Alexa Rank: #218,460
Location: United States (68.3%)
Niche: Wine subscription delivery service
Shopify Theme: Custom
What they do well: GetVineBox is a brilliant example of a Shopify store solving a problem for its target market by offering wine lovers the chance to taste wines from all over the world without paying for a premium wine tasting experience. There are details on getting started on the homepage, while the blog offers tips and information on everything from winemakers to pairings. We particularly liked the disability-friendly button found at the bottom of the page, making this website genuinely accessible and inclusive.
https://www.allbirds.com/ – The most comfortable shoes in the world
Alexa Rank: #9,125
Location: United States (66.3%), Japan (8.6%), Canada (5.1%)
Niche: Sustainable footwear and clothing
Shopify Theme: Duppit
What they do well: Founded by footballer Tim Brown and engineer Zoey Zwillnger, Allbirds is an eCommerce store combining comfort, style, and sustainability. The site features an easy-to-navigate layout with a personal feel throughout. The website emphasizes the brand’s use of natural, sustainable materials, and you’ll be able to find plenty of information on how the company acts as a force for good. The blog includes some fascinating stories about the brand and upcoming collaborations (for example, with Adidas).
https://www.naja.co/ – Elegant underwear you can feel good about.
Alexa Rank: #207,902
Location: United States (53.3%)
Niche: Underwear and fashion
Shopify Theme: Custom
What they do well: Naja might have dropped some Alexa positions lately, but it’s still a great example of successful, good-looking Shopify stores. The clean, beautiful layout and images are perfect for an underwear retailer, and the website works hard to showcase its stunning products and sustainable, do-good message. There’s plenty of information throughout the website to help you feel connected and demonstrate how every purchase makes a difference. “Naja Points” is also an excellent example of a loyalty program done well.
https://partakefoods.com/ – Super delicious cookies
Alexa Rank: #71,797
Location: United States (48.3%), Canada (6.3%), and Pakistan (4%)
Niche: Food (homemade free-from cookies)
Shopify Theme: Custom
What they do well: PartakeFoods was founded by a mom fed up with buying cookies allergen-packed cookies her kids couldn’t eat, and this heartfelt message really comes across in marketing. The customized theme can only be described as sweet, perfect for an eCommerce store literally selling sweet treats. The uncluttered layout with minimum copy lets the products (COOKIES!) speak for themselves, with passionate customer reviews adding social proof. PartakeFoods does a good job of focusing on the brand’s USP (“school safe and top 8 allergen-free”) at every opportunity, while the blog is SEO-friendly and insightful.
https://packagefreeshop.com/ – Zero-waste lifestyle store
Alexa Rank: #68,193
Location: United States (52.7%), Canada (8.5%)
Niche: Homeware, beauty, kitchenware, and more – Package free and sustainable.
Shopify Theme: Pipeline
What they do well: We must admit that we weren’t quite sure what they were selling when we first loaded Package Free Shop’s website… But it was obvious that there would be no packaging! The key message on the homepage – “sustainable swaps for everyday essentials” – and some examples of the “essential” products available help. The website feels incredibly personal, with everything (including the categories) making you feel part of the story. For social proof, you’ll find trusted publications the brand has been mentioned in, along with their Instagram feed and an invitation to connect.
https://unitedbyblue.com/ – Sustainable outdoor apparel & accessories
Alexa Rank: #90,415
Location: United States (64.7%), India (11.5%)
Niche: Clothing and accessories
Shopify Theme: Custom
What they do well: United by Blue is one of our favorite Shopify clothing stores, and it’s been rising the Alexa rankings. The small banner along the top of the homepage gets straight to the point and tells you precisely how much good the brand has done so far – “3,622,197 lbs of trash removed” – and continuously updates. Click on the banner to discover more about United by Blue’s mission. The hero banner features seasonal products, and other new arrivals can be found lower on the homepage, with an easy-to-use navigation bar to check out additional product pages.
https://www.adoredvintage.com/ – Timeless & feminine clothing inspired by vintage
Alexa Rank: #260,662
Location: United States (55.9%)
Niche: Vintage clothing, accessories, beauty, and stationery.
Shopify Theme: Shella
What they do well: When it comes to Shopify dropshipping websites, clothing and accessories pop up time and time again, so standing out is essential. Adored Vintage is a Shopify store that found a unique target market and business model. The simple website design offers consistent branding and looks sophisticated and beautiful throughout – just like the products! The search bar offers easy navigation, while the product categories and sub-categories make finding the perfect product straightforward. We particularly love the “scrapbooks” available on this website, filled with inspirational quotes and images that match the online store’s soft, sophisticated, feminine feel.
https://bebemoss.com/ – Adorable animals that help moms support their kids
Alexa Rank: #251,111
Location: United States (39.9%)
Niche: Toys
Shopify Theme: Custom
What they do well: Although Bebemoss’ Alexa rankings are down slightly from the last 90 days (previously #225,440), this sweet brand message and story has helped it become one of our top Shopify stores. The engaging, SEO-friendly, and genuinely helpful copy and content throughout the website make shoppers feel immediately at ease, as the entire website leaves you with a strong message: these are high-quality products that do good. The founder’s story features images of the real family behind the company, which is a lovely touch. Although these toys are a little on the pricy side, the website works hard to demonstrate the premium quality of the toys and how profits work to do good in the community.
https://makeupformelaningirls.com/ – MFMG Hues as Bold as You
Alexa Rank: #320,137
Location: United States (65.5%)
Niche: Cosmetics
Shopify Theme: Narrative
What they do well: This gorgeous cosmetics company features an inspiring story and beautiful website design that strives to make shoppers feel empowered and understood from the minute the landing page is loaded. The modern brand uses social media well, with “Instagram Favorites” being the second header on the homepage, plus an invitation to connect using #MakeupGoals. The newsletter signup popup features a fun fruit machine with the words “secret bonus unlocked” to make shoppers believe they’re onto a winner. MFMG’s inspiring story and goals are clearly paying off, as the website has risen considerably in Alexa rankings over the last 90 days – rising over 60,000 positions!
https://www.beautybakerie.com/ – Embody the Sweet Life with cruelty-free cosmetics and beauty products
Alexa Rank: #113,080
Location: United States (72.2%)
Niche: Cosmetics
Shopify Theme: Custom
What they do well: Beauty Bakerie offers a unique approach to a saturated cosmetics market by associating their products with baking ingredients – for example, breakfast in bed eyeshadow pallet, lollipop liner, milk & honey highlighting palette. The website design and copy have an approachable, friendly, and appropriately sweet feel that’s consistent throughout the product pages, blog, FAQs, and beyond. Prominent social media buttons provide shoppers with opportunities to connect with the brand, and you’ll find social proof with mentioned publications and customer reviews. The personal story about the founder is incredibly engaging and helps shoppers feel involved in the brand’s focus on being a force for good.
https://www.terrebleu.ca/ – Ontario’s largest lavender farm
Alexa Rank: 587,408
Location: United States (no audience information available on Alexa)
Niche: Beauty and holistic products
Shopify Theme: Vantage
What they do well: Terrebleu might have dropped a few Alexa rankings over the last 90 days, but it’s still one of our favorite eCommerce Shopify site examples. The hero banner is intriguing (what is “beyond the yellow door”?!), and the engaging tone of voice makes you feel part of the story and adventure immediately. Offering “a truly unique and authentic product,” Terrebleu even offers shoppers the chance to visit the farm itself as well as benefit from the wide variety of products on sale. The website design is clean and clear, with a color scheme in an appropriate lavender shade that adds to the customer experience wonderfully.
https://www.tsuno.com.au/ – Your period has never felt so good
Alexa Rank: #501,736
Location: United States (no audience information available on Alexa)
Niche: Sanitary products
Shopify Theme: Ira
What they do well: Jumping over 80,000 Alexa positions in the last 90 days, Tsuno’s unique product and marketing easily earn it a spot on our list of top Shopify stores. While sanitary products are often considered taboo, these organic, natural pads and tampons offer women an essential product with a difference and dedication to doing good. 50% of profits go to “charities working to empower women and girls around the world.” The scrolling hero banner does a great job of highlighting the brand’s three main perks: good value, profits to charity, and unique artwork on the boxes to bring a bit of beauty to your period.
https://www.ketnipz.com/ – Clothing and accessories inspired by the cartoons of Harry Hambley (aka @Ketnipz)
Alexa Rank: #627,088
Location: United States (no audience information available on Alexa)
Niche: Clothing and accessories
Shopify Theme: Pipeline
What they do well: Ketnipz is a hugely successful Shopify store with apparel and accessories designed by artist Harry Hambley (aka @Ketnipz). The website has an appropriately fun and quirky tone with easy navigation options and a large search bar. We liked that the newsletter signup didn’t need to be clicked away from before you can shop. Still, some additional category options (for example, the ability to filter clothing by type) would be beneficial. We also noted that this website seems to be better optimized for mobile than desktop.
https://shop.chocolatealchemy.com/ – The art and science of homemade chocolate
Alexa Rank: #796,121
Location: United States (no audience information available on Alexa)
Niche: Chocolate-making equipment and ingredients.
Shopify Theme: Cocoa
What they do well: Although Chocolate Alchemy doesn’t have the most professional-looking website (in our opinion), it’s still a highly successful eCommerce store for anyone who wants to learn how to make their own chocolate and has a respectable following. The SEO-friendly information on making your own chocolate is very well done, and the hero banner is beautifully designed to attract chocolate lovers, with a few featured items available on the homepage.
https://madeincookware.com/ – Professional quality cookware at amateur prices
Alexa Rank: #41,748
Location: United States (87.2%)
Niche: Cookware
Shopify Theme: LeArts
What they do well: This is one of the top websites for cookware and kitchen essentials, with an impressive Alexa ranking and easy navigation on every page. When you load the store, you’ll be greeted with an eye-catching hero image featuring seasonable products and alternative CTAs inviting you to “shop sets” or “shop all.” The website focuses on high-quality materials and craftsmanship, with social proof from professional chefs and publications to build trust. Our only criticism of this website is that it was a little slow to load, and it’s definitely better optimized for mobile browsing (it looks a little unfinished when loaded on a desktop).
https://www.freshheritage.com/ – Organic, all-natural products inspired by Ancient African Traditions
Alexa Rank: #355,662
Location: United States and India (46.6%)
Niche: Beard care
Shopify Theme: Custom
What they do well: Fresh Heritage is a brand with a story and unique tone of voice that they’re proud to share. The USP of the brand is immediately visible when you load the homepage, and you’ll find plenty of social proof with trusted publications and real customer reviews throughout the site. The simple, clean layout lets the products do the talking, with easy navigation, consistent branding, and a professional, product-focused color scheme. The ‘about us’ story is particularly engaging and personal, even including a video.
https://smartypits.com/ – Natural & aluminium-free deodorant
Alexa Rank: #529,735
Location: “Available in more than 5,000 locations globally” (no audience information on Alexa)
Niche: Sustainable deodorant
Shopify Theme: Custom
What they do well: Smarty Pits took a sudden drop in Alexa rankings recently, but it’s still a great example of a successful Shopify store creating natural products with a website that feels approachable and engaging. The hero banner on the homepage is focused on “how your purchase saves lives” and provides additional information about the ingredients the natural deodorant is “free-from” underneath. We really like the featured sections “picks of the month” and “real reviews from real customers.” There’s loads of information on this website without it feeling overwhelming, and the personal, heart-warming story is a great way to help you feel connected to the company and its mission.
https://parklandmfg.ca/ – Bags & accessories for everyday life, made from 100% recycled water bottles.
Alexa Rank: #975,898
Location: Canada (no audience information on Alexa)
Niche: Backpacks and accessories
Shopify Theme: Custom
What they do well: ParklandMFG’s business aims to create a sense of exclusivity and premium by not offering the products for sale directly on the website. Instead of providing a content-heavy homepage, they’ve kept it clean and clear, with plenty of relevant and SEO-friendly information on manufacturing, quality, and sustainable practices. Items are “available at select retailers only” (note the typo… This could be part of the reason the store’s rankings have dropped so significantly over the last 90 days).
https://www.lunchskins.com/ – Affordable single-use plastic alternative bags and straws
Alexa Rank: #149,829
Location: United States (92.1%)
Niche: Home and kitchenware
Shopify Theme: Custom
What they do well: As soon as you load the homepage of this high-ranking Shopify store, you’ll be greeted with a popup offering 30% off in exchange for a phone number (not email), which we suspect does an excellent job of data collection. The website then focuses on how Lunchskins does good for the planet, written in a way that makes shoppers feel like they are doing good by buying – “you’ve helped us replace 2.8 billion plastic bags + over 2.6 million plastic straws!” The blog is well-written and SEO-friendly, with high-quality engagement that is sure to be helping drive organic traffic to this site.
https://www.tentree.ca/pages/about – Shop organic and plant 10 trees.
Alexa Rank: #137,831
Location: Canada (66.4%) and United States (17.4%)
Niche: Sustainable clothing
Shopify Theme: Custom
What they do well: Tentree isn’t the fastest loading website we’ve ever come across, which is a shame. Still, it does offer some incredibly stylish products with ethical business practices customers will love. The website is heavily focused on being “good,” with responsible goals (to plant 1 billion trees by 2030). Proof of their ethical status is clearly mentioned on the homepage and beyond (certified B Corp, Climate Neutral, etc.). The navigation is straightforward, with clear categories and plenty of information on products, projects, and more.
https://www.taylorstitch.com/ – Classic men’s clothing
Alexa Rank: #51,997
Location: United States (80.1%)
Niche: Men’s clothing
Shopify Theme: Taylor
What they do well: Since the business was founded, Taylor Stitch has tripled its revenue annually, putting it among the most successful eCommerce stores around… and it was built with Shopify! The website is optimized for mobile browsing, with a smart, stylish, professional look and feel. The scrolling hero images are captioned with a tone of voice that suits the brand (“a classic reborn,” “handcrafted in Los Angeles,” etc.), and there’s a clear focus on sustainability with links to “our responsibility journey.” Taylor Stitch is an exciting business model, as shoppers crowdfund to raise the money to have designs made into products they can buy… And based on the store’s success, it’s clearly one that works!
http://northamerica.triangl.com/ – WELCOME #TRIANGLGIRLS
Alexa Rank: #63,752
Location: United States (73.1%) and Canada (9.8%)
Niche: Swimwear
Shopify Theme: Custom
What they do well: Triangl is one of the best successful online store examples we’ve found, consistently increasing in rankings with an uncluttered web design that puts the products first. We noticed very little copy throughout the website, with images of #trianglgirls wearing the swimwear doing all the talking. Loading the site provides you with a popup that welcomes #trianglgirls and invites you to subscribe to the email and connect on social media for exclusive discounts and perks. The brand does an excellent job of creating exclusivity with products that aren’t available anywhere else but otherwise keeps things simple and straightforward with no pushy sales.
http://helmboots.com/ – Classic footwear for modern customers made in the USA
Alexa Rank: #199,540
Location: United States (70.8%)
Niche: Footwear
Shopify Theme: Debut
What they do well: Helm focuses on offering high-quality products with uncluttered yet beautiful imagery that puts the product first. The brand emphasizes how the footwear is all handmade in the USA and offers free shipping and exchanges to help you “find the perfect pair.” This commitment to quality and customers is what makes this store so successful, and we particularly liked the “style quiz” and links to their shoppable Instagram feed. Although the background and layout of this website feel incredibly professional, it’s interesting to note it’s made with the default, free Shopify theme, Debut, showing that you don’t need to spend a fortune for a stylish website.
https://www.toyshades.com/ – Reassuringly affordable eyewear
Alexa Rank: #370,016
Location: United States (56.6%)
Niche: Eyewear and accessories
Shopify Theme: Envy
What they do well: After a sudden drop in the Alexa rankings, Toy Shades is gradually getting back on track with an easy-to-navigate website and a stylish/modern feel. The slogan – “reassuringly affordable eyewear” – appeals to budget-conscious shoppers, while the overall aesthetics and content balance this to appeal to a market that wants budget that doesn’t look budget. We liked that the subscription popup doesn’t take over the entire webpage, so you can start browsing immediately, and the link to customer support has a friendly and welcoming feel.
https://www.wolfcircus.com/ – Creating pieces for you, whoever you choose to be.
Alexa Rank: #192,178
Location: United States (17.3%)
Niche: Jewellery suppliers
Shopify Theme: Custom
What they do well: Wolf Circus is probably one of the most successful dropshipping Shopify stores out there, with a stylish website that’s easy to navigate and showcases the best products. The navigation bar is well categorized, and we particularly loved the handy gift finder. The whole site is clean and uncluttered, with an easy link to a live chat/help center. The one downside is that it was a little slow to load, particularly the email subscription popup that must be acknowledged before you can browse.
https://www.minaal.com/ – Bags & gear for life on the move
Alexa Rank: #288,399
Location: New Zealand (no Alexa geography info.)
Niche: Luggage and accessories
Shopify Theme: Prestige
What they do well: Minaal might be operating in a saturated market, but this company has done a great job finding a niche they can connect to (digital nomads). The high-quality products on offer have clearly been created by people who have a genuine use for them… Everything from the product pages to the blog installs a feeling of familiarity and like-mindedness – which is probably a good driver of the impressive engagement they receive!
https://kkwbeauty.com/ – Kim Kardashian West Beauty
Alexa Rank: #73,729
Location: United States (48.8%) and Canada (8%)
Niche: Beauty products and cosmetics
Shopify Theme: Custom
What they do well: Featuring regular sales and products that sell out in seconds, KKW is a simply designed site with easy navigation and user-friendly categories shoppers will love. Kim herself regularly features as the model on the website, and the influencer proof in “Kim’s Must-Haves” is a great way to transform fans into customers. Considering the high sell-out rates of KKW products, the “back in stock” section is beneficial, and you’ll (of course) find plenty of links to social media in this store!
https://www.kyliecosmetics.com/
Alexa Rank: #38,475
Location: United States (51.8%), India (9.4%), Australia (6.3%)
Niche: Beauty products
Shopify Theme: Custom
What they do well: When we tested the Kylie Cosmetics store, it was down for maintenance, but most people won’t be surprised to hear Kylie Jenner’s beauty company is one of the best performing Shopify stores for cosmetics… But it might surprise you that she uses Shopify at all! Showing this e-commerce platform isn’t just for newcomers, Kylie Cosmetics features regular flash sales and products that sell out in minutes. Kyliecosmetics.com might have dropped its Alexa position in the last 90-days, but we doubt this is any concern for the mega-icon’s range of beauty products.
https://nclabeauty.com/ – Vegan & Cruelty-Free Beauty
Alexa Rank: #333,623
Location: United States (78.1%)
Niche: Beauty products
Shopify Theme: Prestige
What they do well: Offering “vegan & cruelty-free beauty” solutions, NCLA has increased almost 300,000 Alexa positions in the last 90 days… Showing a high demand for sustainable beauty and a testament to the effort that’s been put into this online store. This website is well-designed with a friendly feel, featuring a simple yet effective color scheme, an easy link to Facebook Messenger for support, and a Shoppable Instagram feed. We particularly like the order/priority of products displayed on the homepage (featured new products, bestsellers, “handpicked for you,” other categories).
http://www.skinnymetea.com.au/ – The original natural detox tea
Alexa Rank: #116,800
Location: Australia – customers in US (33.1%), Australia (19.4%) and Canada (15.8%).
Niche: Health drinks
Shopify Theme: Pipeline
What they do well: SkinnyMeTea puts social proof front and center in this successful eCommerce example, inviting visitors to “join over 400K happy sippers and save up to 50% storewide.” Although the store has dropped a few ranking positions over the last 90 days, the business earned over $600K per month in less than a year in 2012! The website features straightforward navigation options and categories (“detox teas” vs. “everyday teas”), and the customer reviews (featuring before and after pictures) provide a really personal touch and demonstrate the product really works.
https://www.nutriseed.co.uk/ – Plant the seed to a better health
Alexa Rank: #837,846
Location: United States (83.8%)
Niche: Wholefoods and health drinks
Shopify Theme: Custom, based on Mr. Parker
What they do well: The honest, down-to-earth messaging is key to the success of this eCommerce store. Perks are listed high on the homepage (free UK deliveries over £39.99, 98% customer satisfaction, 365-day guarantee) along with plenty of social proof from trusted publications. The Nutriseed featured product highlights the product’s benefits, and there is a strong focus on “Why Nutriseed” throughout the website. To pull customers in further, you’ll find invitations to submit your own images for the chance to be featured on the website and win free stuff – and who doesn’t like free stuff?!
https://www.quadlockcase.com/ – Smartphone mounting for an active lifestyle
Alexa Rank: #80,679
Location: United States (70.3%)
Niche: Mounting systems for smartphones and tablets
Shopify Theme: Custom
What they do well: Quadlockcase has risen over 16,000 ranking positions in the last 90 days, highlighting the high-quality product and creative marketing this Shopify store owner has utilized. https://us.hem.com/ – Imaginative designs of obsessive quality
Alexa Rank: #261,385
Location: United States (73.2%)
Niche: Homeware and furniture
Shopify Theme: Custom
What they do well: Hem is probably one of the most good-looking Shopify stores, with a clear yet quirky design that works well for the brand. The featured product takes center stage and is followed by “trending” products, “news,” and unique categories that are a delight to browse. There’s an easy link to connect with customer support that provides opening hour information… A valuable aspect that’s frequently overlooked!
https://hauslondon.com/ – The very best in contemporary furniture, lighting, and homeware
Alexa Rank: #418,973
Location: UK (According to Alexa, most traffic comes from India (56.9%))
Niche: Contemporary furniture, lighting, and gifts
Shopify Theme: Custom
What they do well: Homeware eCommerce stores have had a pretty good year, with everyone being stuck indoors for 2020! Haus’ website capitalizes on the home improvements trend, with an incredibly professional and contemporary look that suits the business. The color scheme and background help the products ‘pop’ on the page. The benefits of shopping online with Haus are clearly stated (10% off, free UK delivery over £100 with 1-hour time slot, no import duty for UK customers, etc.). You’ll also find details for the physical store in London if you want to shop in-person.

Location: United States (52.7%)
Niche: Bicycles
Shopify Theme: Custom theme
What they do well: In 2012, Pure Cycles made almost $4 million in 2,000 bicycle sales, making them a hugely successful eCommerce business! Their simple mission – “to get more people on bikes”” – rings true throughout the website, with plenty of engaging copy and eye-catching imagery on every landing page. On the homepage, you’ll find best-selling products and personalized recommendations front-and-center, in addition to links to “The Pure Cycles Store” and “Why Choose Us?” sections.
http://tattly.com/ – Fake Tattoos by Real Artists
Alexa Rank: #214,072
Location: United States (61%) and India (12.8%)
Niche: Customized temporary tattoos
Shopify Theme: Debut
What they do well: Tattley shipped 2.6 million custom temporary tattoos in 2015 and has been steadily increasing traffic – and Alexa rankings – since it was founded. The bright, vibrant, uncluttered website displays various products, and the color scheme and branding are consistent throughout the website. To pull customers in and help them feel part of the story, there’s a simple yet engaging ‘about’ section right on the homepage. It’s also worth noting that Tattley uses the default Shopify theme, Debut.
Best Shopify Stores: Conclusion
Considering some of the most successful Shopify stores gave us a valuable insight into what makes a fantastic online store and what buyers are attracted to. We noticed that every store is elementary to navigate, and most feature convenient contact buttons that take you to a live chat, email, or FAQ section without leaving the landing page.
Although many of the top-performing Shopify stores use a custom theme, we found it interesting that many use standard themes, and there are even examples sticking with the default free theme… It’s good to know you don’t have to spend a fortune to create good-looking Shopify stores or gain success.
This review also provided valuable insight into the changing priorities of customers. While once it might have been sufficient to offer a high-quality product with an eye-catching design and website… Today, customers also want to hear about how your business engages in sustainable practices, cruelty-free manufacturing, and how you’re a force for good.
